Similes

WALT write similies for our poetry this week.

A simile compares two different things using the word "like" or "as"

Dear Room 4 & Mrs. Boyd,

I love all of your super similies! The video is a great learning tool as well! I might use that with my third grade students when schools starts. We begin school a week from today.

I am going to add a place to a few of your similies...as cold as winter in Antarctica!

He runs like a hare being chased by a coyote!

She is as smelly as my feet...I'm not touching that simile!
